Most people know there is a thousand-island lake in Canada, but not so many people know there is also a thousand-island lake in China.
Located in Southeast China’s Zhejiang province, not far from Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang, the thousand-island lake is an amazing place. Consisting of 1,078 islets, it is just as beautiful as the one in Canada.
In this episode of Meet China, on behalf of their respective thousand-island lake, Mr. Zheng Rongsheng, Chief Executive of Chun’an County, will have a dialogue with Mr. Jim Bradley, Minister of Tourism and Recreation of Ontario Province. They will tell you the most interesting specialties of their lakes, the differences and the similarities of the two lakes as well.
