Handan is usually known as a steel city in China but it also holds a very long history and a rich cultural past.
Pittsburgh used to be known as “Steel City” or “Smoke City”. Today most of the industrial sites have been successfully redeveloped. The smoke is gone, and the city is as beautiful as one could imagine.
Now, two mayors from two so called “steel cities” come together. Will Pittsburgh’s experience be useful to Handan?
