Abstract
|
|
Weihai
is known as the city of gardens, the city of ports,
and the city of tourism. It was named one of the
100 "World Model Cities for Environmental
Protection" by a global organization of the
United Nations. The way in which Weihai maintains
the pace of its economic development and at the
same time, protects environmental quality is an
extremely valuable experience. Weihai's experience
can be shared by other cities in China as well
as by cities throughout the world.
