Chinese Guest
Abstract

Zhong Guan Cun, Beijing

Zhongguancun, now dubbed the Chinese Silicon Valley, has come a long way since its days as a Beijing village suburb. However, it isn’t smooth sailing from here on out; in fact, it is facing brutal challenges from its competitors in China.

Both Chinese and foreign investors question whether or not Zhongguancun can retain its position at the top. In this episode, the director of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, Charles Martin, will meet face-to-face with Yujun, the Vice Chief Executive of Haidian District, in which Zhongguancun is located.
